Have your say on Burneside Neighbourhood Area application

28 April 2016

A consultation has begun today on an application by Burneside Parish Council for the village to become a Neighbourhood Area.

Neighbourhood Areas have more direct control over the development and growth of their local areas.

Burneside Parish Council have applied for a Neighbourhood Area to be created covering the whole of the parish except for:

  • the land west of High Sparrowmire

  • part of land north of Laurel Gardens

We are required to publicise the Neighbourhood Area Application (PDF/25MB/7pages) and invite comments for the next six weeks.

You can comment on the application until 5pm on Thursday 9 June 2016.
